French Antique 10g 18k GOLD Solid Box Link Watch Book Chain w/ Large Spring Ring Bolt Clasp & Dog Clip Ends Extender Bracelet Connector

ABOUT:
Love a good watch chain and this one has all the extra bits and bobs with lovely touches and antique design details. A super unique link that is sort of like a mini book chain with rectangular box links accented with a pyramid detail.

French antique with their hallmarks for 18k gold with perfect patina. The piece has a combination of buttery yellow areas and parts with a warm and rosy glow. So lovely! For added accoutrements, we have the larger spring ring on one side and a dog clip on the opposite end with sections of cable chain on each end. We love to find these with connectors / clasps on each side as it gives plenty of options to style, extend and connect it.

Shorter in length, it fits me as a choker just barely so please note the measurements as it may need an extender. It also fits me as a a bracelet. We antique jewelry enthusiasts incorporate them with the connectors on each end, for use as extenders or hooked together with other chains for wear as a necklace or bracelet. Or you could work with your jeweler to add or remove some links.

The parts alone are quite valuable as the old salvaged XL spring rings and dog clips are always sought after, but I decided to sell this one has it came to me, with all the bells and whistles in its all original condition. This is one of my faves in awhile with the designed links being so unique.

Solid 18k gold, found in France with multiple French hallmarks for 18k, on the side edge of the spring ring loop, on the dog clip, also a French control mark on one of the other loops.

Any props not included. Please note the measurements as I have small hands and it can be difficult to decipher scale from photos, especially with the zoomed images that I am required to present for detail.

MEASUREMENTS:
It weighs 10g. Stretched end to end it's a hair over 13.5 inches long from clasp to clasp. The large spring ring is 14.7mm in diameter so it's larger than most. The book/pyramid links are 4.7mm wide and 2.8mm deep.

IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:
Perfect patina, stable and ready to wear. There is a shallow impression to the spring ring on the part that opens and shuts and a hairline crack to gold that spiders away from that end, but it is not really seen by the eye and is completely functioning and secure. The zoomed pics will accent this much more than what is seen while wearing so please look for that. Both clasps work well. No repairs. Original wearable condition, perfect patina.

Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable and eager to be loved and accepted for many years to come, (the preservation of antique jewelry, even those with signs of their age and history, is important to me. : )
But - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )
