ABOUT:
A beautiful French Belle Epoque ring purchased on my last inventory trip there. This one has three old mine cut diamonds raised in prongs. It is surrounded by a scrolling sort of shield shaped face that is encrusted with rose cut diamonds.
Makes a lovely power pointer. Beautiful on the hand with the two different cuts of old cut diamonds giving it a wonderful texture and sparkle. Ornate footprint, so pretty to wear.

HALLMARKS:
Worn French hallmark for 18k.
MEASUREMENTS:
Size 5 3/4. It weighs 3.95 grams. The ring face is about 20x13mm.
The center diamond is 4.5mm and the other two larger stones are 3mm each give or take. The 26 additional diamonds in the outline are small - 1.5 to 2mm each. Exact carat weight is unknown but it's over 1.3 carats just using estimates by size.
IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:
Typical antique stones with some natural variances. The center three diamonds are quite frosty from inclusions but no dark carbon and still a nice sparkle. The rose cuts are also typical for the period, with rough edges, frosty spots, non uniform shapes, much of this has always been this way from having been rough hand cuts from so long ago. There is one replacement single cut that blends nicely but you can seek it out in the zoom photos.
The center stone has 3 worn prongs on one side but is still held on all sides. Requires gentle wear or fortifying being weak on the one side but the stone is still held and does not move. Priced accordingly with these things in mind and sold as is.
Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable and eager to be loved and accepted for many years to come, (the preservation of antique jewelry, even those with signs of their age and history, is important to me. : )
But - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )
