French ANTIQUE Rose Cut DIAMOND Full Eternity Band PLATINUM Ring Dainty Skinny Stacker

The skinniest little skinny band! This French antique piece is a personal collection release, just a bit too large in size for me to wear regularly. Sweet little rose cut diamonds encircle the full eternity band which is crafted in platinum with French hallmarks. It has a nice "crusty" texture with the old cuts popping out of the band.

Note that it is missing two stones. I decided to wear it this way and selling it as is in part because the diamonds are so small, I didn't have any tiny chips to replace them with. They are near to eachother so when I wore it, I just situated the vacant bezels to the back / inside palm of the hand so they would not be visible to me. Another reason I opted not to repair is because while it is possible for the buyer to discuss with their local jeweler, sometimes repairs can muddy the design or stand out more than the tiny vacant bezels do. So here she is in all her imperfect glory! : )

A wonderful stacker, also a beautiful minimalist statement worn alone with a great antique sparkle.

You might see a shallow impression on the side of the shank - this is the French hallmark! It is not a ding or dent.

SIZE & MEASUREMENTS:

Size 7 1/4. It is 2mm wide north to south by 1.8mm tall give or take as the diamonds crop out of the band. The diamonds are small - 1.3mm each.

IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:
As mentioned, two stones in the same area are missing, sold as is.
Typical antique rose cuts, with nicks, frosty, rough edges, irregular cuts. Not a lot of chips or cracks though even though antique eternities by nature usually have at this age since the stones surround the finger including the palm side of the hand where it makes contact with surfaces.

I actually spent quite a bit of time cleaning this one but the stones and bezels are so small that lotion and soap buildup of 100 years remains. Could use another gentle soak but I didn't want to risk loosening anything.

Antique eternity bands need gentler wear again as the underside of the ring on the inside of the hand hits surfaces while you are wearing them. None of the stones move but on pieces like these with several tiny antique prongs holding the many stones, you have to keep an eye on them as they wear with age and considering two stones have came loose, it does have evidence of age. These usually sell for closer to $1k so it is being sold as is and priced accordingly.

Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable and eager to be loved and accepted for many years to come, (the preservation of antique jewelry, even those with signs of their age and history, is important to me. : )
But - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )
