French Vintage 18k Gold BALL Rivet Sphere Tension Bangle Minimalist Wriststack Line Geometric Tube

This one was in my personal collection for about 5 minutes before I felt guilty as we have other needs at the moment - but this one is about as versatile as piece as they come.

Really perfect for layering and stacking, this French vintage piece bears their hallmarks for 18k gold with a goldsmith stamp. It is a sleek and minimalist design with the tube bangle in gold leading up to the gold ball / sphere which also serves as the catch. This one doesn't latch into place, but the sphere has an opening on one side where the tension of the bracelet allow you to pull it open to slide on the hand, and then the tube nests into the ball ornament.

Great geometry to layer with really any other bracelets. I'm not positive how old it is as the French don't use date marks but it is at least vintage period, if not older.

Antique props not included. Please note the measurements as I have small hands and it can be difficult to decipher scale from photos.

SIZE & MEASUREMENTS:
Weight is 7 grams. It's a smaller size than most in that the average bracelet is too large for me and I could war this one. I have a 5.5 inch wrist and it stays on my wrist but I can still spin all the way around. Definitely wearable in a stack though and would fit a larger wrist than mine as well. The inside opening is 62x46mm if you want to compare that against some of your bracelets at home. I can't get an inside circumference measurement but it is smaller than 7 inches as that is Mr. Mouse's wrist and we couldn't get it on him without cranking on it (which we didn't want to do).  The ball ornament / catch is 10mm in diameter.

IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:
It is slightly out of form just due to its fabrication from opening and closing, where it curves a bit north south on each side of the ball since one side is fixed and the other is moveable / where you open it. But it is stable and wearable. It stays closed on the wrist and it doesn't have any dings or dents, it is still nicely oval.

Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable and eager to be loved and accepted for many years to come, (the preservation of antique jewelry, even those with signs of their age and history, is important to me. : )
But - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )

There are no dark spots to the gold, it just sometimes reflects its surroundings.
