Meanwhile... Sorrows, tears, sorrows, tears... - I still love each and every one of these, but I just don't get around to wearing them all enough and we have other needs right now so I'm hoping to re-home them where they can be loved and enjoyed. : )
I also try to keep my PC pretty humble so as I add things throughout the years, every so often I do a big clear out and these are some of my all time faves - figurals, some with secrets, dates, all have meaning to me so they will be sent to the buyer with all my love and joy and happy memories : )

ABOUT:

Because I aggressively love Garnets! Especially when they are this glowing juicy ripe raspberry in color. I wore this one. a. ton. Nice and sturdy hand feel and kind of a two for one as you get the fabulous gemstone in the east west bezel setting WITH the ornately embossed details of a stackable wide band. So many fun details and substantial enough to wear alone. The deeply embossed images on each shoulder extend 3/4 of the way to the back of the ring, I think they are rose petals? And continue with flower petals encircling the bezel set ring face - swoon! So ornate and lovely.

Found in France with their hallmark for 18k gold.

Please note the detailed measurements that I always provide, as I have small fingers and it can be difficult to determine scale from pictures where I am required to show zoomed in detail.

SIZE & MEASUREMENTS:
A snug size 6 1/4

The ring face is about 9.3mm north south. Weight is a sturdy 6.3 grams. The stone is 7x5.4mm.

IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:

There is a scratch on the edge of the garnet's table that can catch the light and 2-3 small nibbles to one area of the facet but overall a gorgeous sheen and color, it is not dull or matte finish as these sometimes are. Beautiful patina in the recesses to make the high relief embossings stand out. Evidence of a sizing to the back. The back of the gemstone extends out behind the ring face a bit to rest against the finger. It does not have a pointed culet but a long linear bottom facet so I did not find it uncomfortable to wear but something to note.

Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable and eager to be loved and accepted for many years to come, (the preservation of antique jewelry, even those with signs of their age and history, is important to me. : )
But - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )

Please also note that I take some photos / videos in the sunshine because it captures the lovely color and sparkle, but it also highlights any surface wear, scratches, abrasions, buildup or inclusions that can catch the light, making these things appear worse than they would with normal day to day wear. : )
