Back from my summer inventory trips to several countries / cities in Europe. I am selling an assortment of vintage to antique jewelry and rings which I have hunted for and gathered one at a time from around the world. Some examples seen in the last photo - thanks for stopping by!
ABOUT:
The geometry of this ring reminds me of an argyle pattern. This super stackable band has four square rubies amidst rows of tiny rose cut diamond chips for a pop of color with a glint of sparkle. The rubies appear synthetic, a sought after choice for the period as they were all the rage.
Knife edge shank and slightly raised ring face make this the perfect piece for layering or a minimalist geometry worn alone.
Found in Sweden, no hallmarks remain but sold to me as 18k and tested to confirm.
Antique boxes, props, mice, dishes ; ) not included. Please note the measurements as I have small fingers and it can be difficult to determine scale from pictures.
MEASUREMENTS:
Size 7.
Ring face is 4.4mm north south. It weighs 2.6 grams.
IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:
In really nice condition for an Art Deco piece. Under magnification the rose cuts have some frosty edges typical for the period, rough cut since they are so small.
Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable and eager to be loved and accepted for many years to come, (the preservation of antique jewelry, even those with signs of their age and history, is important to me. : )
But - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )
