ABOUT:
The hallmarks on this one are so striking! (Pun intended : )
I couldn't find a good hallmark guide to accurately date these and even asked the community to no avail, but with the rampant lion I think it might be Spanish Iberian and the very old style strikes, Georgian era - in all original condition. (Any input welcome if you recognize the marks!)

Traditional betrothal or wedding ring. Wonderful buttery patina with a closed back setting holding seven old cut paste stones - one in the center in a conical setting with pie crust edge and three on each side. It has a great antique look, like something you would see in a period piece movie.

The seven stones were believed to bring good luck and also represented fidelity every day of the week (and every day of one's life.)

HALLMARKS:

It has four clear hallmark strikes on the back outside of the shank which is wonderful to see in a piece of this age. It has the appearance of very high carat gold, tests over 18k, perhaps 19.2 as frequently seen on Iberian antique pieces?

Any boxes or props used for staging are not included.

Two of the paste stones have abrasions and two have chips to the surface seen when you study the top facets in a reflection. They still appear as complete and round in the bezels. They read somewhat gray from age but it's a great setting. It wears really beautifully.

SIZE & MEASUREMENTS:
Size 9 1/2. Face of the ring is 7.5mm north to south, the paste are about 3mm give or take. It domes 6.2mm off the finger. It weighs 2.95 grams

IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:

Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, small nicks. They also may have some build up and some imperfections and other age related wear, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any glaring issues above and they are all still functioning and wearable. For pieces with more patina, this can always be cleaned up / polished by the buyer but most of my customers prefer original patina so I am selling them as is.

Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )

I enjoy making my customers happy and matching unique pieces with new homes. Please feel free to reach out to me with any questions! It means a lot to me that you are visiting my shop! : )

Thanks so much for looking at my items!
