ABOUT:

Personal collection release - recently got an Art Nouveau ring so had to find another one to go. I purchased this from a friend in Paris. I just love the beautiful textured gold work and the interesting Art Nouveau motif of the leaves - they look like ginkgo to me? The center is set with a ruby flanked by two small old cut diamonds. Barely there French hallmark for 18k but I've seen it a million times so I can make out the partial stamp. It's the sweetest pinky ring.

Please note the measurements as I have small fingers and the pictures can make it difficult to see scale. Antique box is not included.

SIZE & MEASUREMENTS:

Size 2 3/4. I would think it could be sized up without bending the ring face so check with your local jeweler who would be doing the work to determine their comfort level. Weight is 3.4grams. 17mm north south, the ruby is 2.7mm.

IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:
Uniform surface wear from age and wear. A few nicks to the ruby but it is small so not realy eye visible. Shank slightly out of round, does not affect how it wears.
Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable and eager to be loved and accepted for many years to come, (the preservation of antique jewelry, even those with signs of their age and history, is important to me. : )
But - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )
