ABOUT:
A figural sweetie that adds a lovely shape and sparkle to your ring stack. At the center is a little transitional cut diamond. It is raised in a bezel at the center of the heart. The heart shape extends to the sleek and wide shoulders of the ring, blending seamlessly into the band.
Found in Paris, with the French hallmark for 18k gold.
Antique box not included. Please note the measurements as I have small fingers and it can be difficult to determine scale from pictures.
MEASUREMENTS:
Size 8
The ring face is 8mm north south and 2.8mm tall off the finger.
The diamond is about 3.5mm.
Weight: 3.5g.
CONDITION NOTES:
Sturdy setting. Some scuffs to the gold from later gold testing at the back and there is some wear at the shoulders the look like little nicks or impressions to the gold. They actually look like hallmarks with a counterstrike but I can't make them out. They are eye visible and made more noticeable by the mirrored finish of the sleek shoulders.
Typical vintage diamond, it has frosty natural inclusions. No damage and it has a nice color and sparkle with no dark or glaring carbon spots but you can see the frosty inclusions under magnification.
Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable and eager to be loved and accepted for many years to come, (the preservation of antique jewelry, even those with signs of their age and history, is important to me. : )
But - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )
