HEAVY Victorian ANTIQUE 10.5g 14k Gold Solid Cable Chain Screw Bolt Dog Clip Watch Necklace Extender Double Wrap Bracelet

Antique Victorian watch chain with heavy 14k solid gold cable links. Nice quality hand feel to this one. Glowing warm, buttery and rosy, rich antique yellow gold from age and patina. This delicious sought after hue is special because it can't be found on modern gold.

Also making this one special is the screw bolt dog clip. This one tested at 10k but studying it, appears to be gold filled at least in some parts, so I am selling it as that, while the chain is 14k solid gold. These components are highly sought after for mix and match neckmess / neckstack options.

We often find these chains as folded gold soldered together to create a link with hollow space in between. This one is solid all the way through for each link giving it a sturdy hand feel.

Note the short length of 13 inches. It does not fit me as a necklace but I can wrap it double as a bracelet, or connect it to another watch chain as a necklace, or add a dog clip or decorative extender for wear as a choker or layering chain. Always a lot of options these days with connectors / extenders in a neckmess / neckstack. Please double check the measurements as to how it would wear on you as we all come in wonderfully different shapes and sizes.

No hallmarks remain but studied, and tested with Kee tester and acid test.

Antique boxes / items in displays in photos are not included. Please note the measurements as I have small hands and it can be difficult to decipher scale from photos, especially with the zoomed images that I am required to present for detail.

MEASUREMENTS:
It weighs a sturdy 10.5g. Stretched end to end it's 13 inches long. The links are 3.5mm with larger ones at the end at 5mm.

IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:

Slightly different patina on the dog clip but sturdy links, nice quality.

Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable and eager to be loved and accepted for many years to come, (the preservation of antique jewelry, even those with signs of their age and history, is important to me. : )
But - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )
