I am selling an assortment of vintage to antique jewelry and rings which I have hunted for and gathered from around the world. Some examples seen in the last photo - thanks for stopping by!

ABOUT:

Geometry, color and sparkle! This French antique stick pin has a chunky, crystal clear pear rose cut diamond at the center with a chevron of rubies above and below and additional rose cut diamonds to each side. The center diamond is of exceptional quality with not a single detectible inclusion and an open back setting.

This one would be an amazing ring or pendant conversion. I didn't convert it in case someone would prefer to wear it as a pin, and if converted, I wanted to leave it to the buyer to work with their jeweler as to how, since it could have a loop added at the top to hang from a chain, or have two loops added to be worn east to west, or built into a bracelet chain, etc. Just to give you ideas, I showed some pics of how it would look as ring, a pendant or around the wrist (just ignore the pin post which would be removed when you work with your jeweler to design the piece.)

Being a pin that was very gently worn, it is in as excellent condition as can be found for an antique piece which is another thing that makes it a great conversion option. I love the geometry of the piece but my favorite thing about it is the chunky pear shaped rose cut. Aways fun to find antique diamonds in shapes apart from round and this one of such great quality.

French hallmark for 18k gold with some additional stamps including a serial number so it is possible it is by one of the known high end makers but I can't decipher any of the other stamps.

Antique boxes, chains, props in photos is not included. Please note the measurements as I have small hands and it can be difficult to decipher scale from photos.

SIZE & MEASUREMENTS:

The shield face is 12x8mm.

The largest center old mine cut diamond is 4.8x4mm. Exact carat weight of that stone is not known as I would not remove it but it faces up at about .4 carat.

It measures 70mm long and weighs 1.75 grams.

IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:

Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable and eager to be loved and accepted for many years to come, (the preservation of antique jewelry, even those with signs of their age and history, is important to me. : )
But - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )
