Lattice Antique Edwardian Pink RUBY 18k Gold Fuchsia 16 Rose Cut Diamond Grid Ring Belle Epoque Stacker Colorful Geometric Romantic Gift

I am selling an assortment of vintage to antique jewelry and rings which I have hunted for and gathered from around the world. Please see my other offerings - thanks for stopping by!

ABOUT:

This one gives great geometry, again with a splash of color and sparkle. The setting is a sort of openwork grid that reminds me of lattice details. The square rubies are situated like a diamond shape down the center of the ring, with rose cuts in a line on each side. Little marquise details hold an additional rose cut at each shoulder.

Reeded shank with banded shoulders, the piece is crafted glowing 18k gold.

No hallmarks remain which is typical for French pieces due to their location of the hallmark in an area where sizing and wear occurs.

Antique box not included. Please note the measurements as I have small fingers and it can be difficult to determine scale from pictures.

SIZE & MEASUREMENTS:

Size 6 1/2. The ring face is 13x7mm.
It weighs 2.6 grams.

IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:
Typical antique rose cuts, small rough cuts with plenty of frosty, rough and irregular edges, two appear to have a bit of loss but they are so small, they may have always been this way. They were just meant to add a glint of sparkle. Some of the cloudiness is due to built up in the back in the hard to reach places.

Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable and eager to be loved and accepted for many years to come, (the preservation of antique jewelry, even those with signs of their age and history, is important to me. : )
But - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )
