ABOUT:
Gorgeous glowing patina to this French Victorian era chain. It is a long double strand chain measuring a little over 30 inches, but since it has a clasp to open, I can wrap it double and also wear it as a four strand choker.
The links are alternating oval cable chain links that alternate with ornate scalloped link chains.
Found in France. There are several stamps indicating all parts solid gold, along with a goldsmith stamp. Some rosy hues from age and patina with a buttery glow. Highly sought after as this special coloring cannot be found on new gold jewelry. So lovely!

MEASUREMENTS:
It weighs a sturdy 19.4 grams. It is a little over 30 inches long. The links are about 2.4mm wide.
IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:
No notable damage aside from some tool marks on the loop which may be a replacement, it's beautiful. Amazing condition considering age.
Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable and eager to be loved and accepted for many years to come, (the preservation of antique jewelry, even those with signs of their age and history, is important to me. : )
