However you want to call it - a three stone ring or a solitaire with accents, this little early 1900s cutie has such a lovely footprint and sparkle!
Crafted in 14k gold with the diamond settings topped in platinum, we have the center old European cut diamond raised in a square ring face. Then at the shoulders we have each old cut diamond set into a marquise shaped setting.
A beautiful engagement ring or a sweet stacker. A timeless classic!
Antique box / props not included. Please note the measurements as I have small fingers and it can be difficult to determine scale from pictures.
MEASUREMENTS:
Size 5 3/4
Weight 2.8 grams
Ring face is 5.9mm tall off the finger.
The center diamond is about 4.5mm and the flanking stones about 3.6mm each for a total carat weight of about .75 carat all together.
IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:
The center stone has a few faint speck inclusions that can reflect around the stone but this is not glaring and is seen mostly under magnification. The side stones are eye clean and they all have a nice bright color and lively sparkle. This one was certainly stacked or part of a wedding set as the shank is thin at the back with a blunt edge. It has some depth to it so it is stable and not in danger of cracking but the north south footprint is quite skinny.
Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable and eager to be loved and accepted for many years to come, (the preservation of antique jewelry, even those with signs of their age and history, is important to me. : )
But - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )
