Ornate Embossed Ring Donut Band French Antique 18k Gold Victorian Part Finding Connector Pendant Ringstack Old 1800s Hallmark Belle Epoque

Another personal collection release, loved this one for the French antique period hallmark.

Crafted in 18k gold - Under magnification it looks like this one used to be a split ring? As there appears to be some shadows of a seam but it does not open and appears to have been smoothed or soldered shut, unless that is just part of the fabrication of the piece.

I wore it as a donut band / ring but would also be beautiful on a chain alone as a pendant, as a connector / extender, on the finger, or holding a collection of pendants or charms using small split rings or dog clips to collect them.

I loved its ornate embossed details and its donut shape with smooth comfort fit interior. It stacks wonderfully with other gold bands or diamond/gem half hoops or eternities. The vertical edges are beautifully ornate so it is fun to view from all angles.

Please note the measurements as I have small fingers and it can be difficult to determine scale from pictures. Some of my buyers "draw out" an example to get an idea of scale in person.

Antique Boxes, props, chains, mice : ) not included. I just laid it over my staging chain to show examples of how to wear.

MEASUREMENTS:

Size 7 1/4. Weight is 3.3grams. The band is 2mm north south and 2.2mm deep.

IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:

Surface wear and the seam is visible in some spots under magnification but it doesn't open. There is the slightest difference in hue on the inside but nothing really noticeable while wearing.

Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable and eager to be loved and accepted for many years to come, (the preservation of antique jewelry, even those with signs of their age and history, is important to me. : )
But - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )
