ABOUT:

That glorious peach champagne to brown center diamond immediately grabbed my attention when I saw this one in England. Beautiful sparkle from the 29 diamonds but the star is the hue of that center antique stone and how it was cleverly surrounded by white diamonds to accent the hue further. And it's such a great color. Definitely rich enough to classify as fancy, it appears a paler peachy champagne color in direct light and an even deeper brown color in other light. You've heard me say it a million times - Love old cut diamonds with hues! The halos are surrounded in milgrain detail holding the single cut diamonds around the center OMC.

Sold to me as Edwardian, stamped 18CT (British for 18k) but no "Plat" stamp so it may be Art Deco with the top in white gold (I never scratch test the white topped settings so as not to harm the stones.). It has an openwork domed underside with a square cutouts pattern propping up the two halos of diamonds around the center stone. 29 diamonds in all totaling over half a carat.

Please note the measurements as I have small fingers and it can be difficult to determine scale from pictures. Antique box is not included.

MEASUREMENTS:
Currently measures a size 7 1/2.

The center diamond is about 4.2mm with a nice crown, roughly 1/3 of a carat. The inside halo of 12 diamonds are about 1mm each and the outside halo of 16 diamonds are 1.3mm each. A little over half a carat total weight in diamonds.

The ring face is 12mm in diameter and stands 6mm off the finger.  It weighs 4.4 grams.

Again please note the measurements as I think the zoom photos my customers require make the ring face look a bit larger?

CONDITION NOTES:

Some faint natural inclusions, nothing dark or glaring - small specks to the center stone and frosty spots here or there on the others. The prongs look good, but I always recommend keeping an eye on all pieces with lots of small stones.

As mentioned the hue varies based on lighting conditions which is another thing I love about it. The photos and video end up true to life in that in some ambiance it is a paler peach and in others, a deeper richer and browner hue. Love it so much!

Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable and eager to be loved and accepted for many years to come, (the preservation of antique jewelry, even those with signs of their age and history, is important to me. : )
But - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )

I enjoy making my customers happy and matching unique pieces with new homes. Please feel free to reach out to me with any questions! It means a lot to me that you are visiting my shop! : )
