ABOUT:
Beautiful movement to this ornate antique pearl ring. The design nods to a figural flower with the shank leading to the swirling ring face of leaves set with seed pearls leading up to the larger pearl held up like the bud of a flower. A beautiful design to this unique ring. It can also be worn with the pearl facing downward, giving it a bluebell type drape.
Larger scale but still suitable for stacking with one edge being on the flatter side. No hallmarks remain but clearly solid gold, testing at 14k. It has some rosy hues to it, so lovely.
Have not had the pearl tested to determine whether it is cultured, natural etc. Just to say that it is definitely not plastic.
Antique box not included. Please note the measurements as I have small fingers and it can be difficult to determine scale from pictures.
SIZE & MEASUREMENTS:
It is a size 6. It weighs 2.5 grams.
The pearl is 7.6mm in diameter, ring face is 16mm north south.
IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:
There is a little uneven area to the gold above / atop the smaller leaf design. Not really seen while wearing. Shank is a bit thin towards the back but the piece is stable.
Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable and eager to be loved and accepted for many years to come, (the preservation of antique jewelry, even those with signs of their age and history, is important to me. : )
But - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )
