PLATINUM French Vintage Channel Set RUBY Full ETERNITY Band 4.7mm Wide Ring Skinny Line Stacker

ABOUT:

A bold French vintage (or older) ruby full eternity band. This one is crafted in platinum with square / carre cut rubies channel set all the way around. The rubies are synthetic with a deep pink color. Would be fun to nest above and below another diamond or gold band for a pop of color in a fabulous stack. I have a platinum half hoop coming up this layers well with.

When you see the side views and see impressions to the setting - this is not damage, nor dings nor dents! These are the French hallmarks. For platinum and a goldsmith stamp.

Please note the measurements as I have small fingers and the pictures can make it difficult to see scale. Antique box is not included.

SIZE & MEASUREMENTS:

Size 6.
4.7mm north south by 2.4mm tall off the finger.
The piece weighs 4.4 grams.

IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:

It's a sturdy piece but it does have wear and was clearly loved and enjoyed. We often see this on eternity bands as the ring makes contact with surfaces on the palm side of the hand, (vs. rings that often have stones on only the top, eternities tend to always have more wear). One stone is chipped with loss to the top edge of the table facet. It interrupts the face of the stone, but it is not cracked through so the stone still fills the space completely with color, vs. a stone that has loss to the girdle edge, which this stone does not have. Most of the stone have scuffs and abrasions making the facets a more matte finish and there are some additional nicks. But there is quite a bit of sheen remaining and it has a striking color.

You'll see that I take some pics in the sunshine to highlight the colors and sparkles, but this also highlights the surface wear and abrasions much more than is visible with normal wear.

Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable and eager to be loved and accepted for many years to come, (the preservation of antique jewelry, even those with signs of their age and history, is important to me. : )
But - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )
