ABOUT:
Unique antique link with each link folded to connect to the next, creating a dainty 3D braided box link. Crafted in 14k gold, with a rich and warm antique patina. Love to see it as it can't be found on modern gold. This one slips over the head and has a dog clip at the center to easily rotate in and out your favorite pendants. It can also be clipped to itself to be worn as a double strand necklace.
Gorgeous to layer or a minimalist piece to wear alone. Wonderful quality and sturdy despite the delicate link.
No hallmarks remain but sold to me from an estate jeweler at 14k and tested to confirm.
Antique boxes, pendants / displays and any additional items in photos are not included. Please note the measurements as I have small hands and it can be difficult to decipher scale from photos.
MEASUREMENTS:
The chain is almost 16 1/2 inches in length when doubled. About 31.5 inches of linear chain (but it doesn't have a spring ring to open it).
Weight is 6.5 grams.
IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:
Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable and eager to be loved and accepted for many years to come, (the preservation of antique jewelry, even those with signs of their age and history, is important to me. : )
But - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )
