ROSE Flower 18k Gold French Antique Art NOUVEAU Victorian Pendant Figural Romantic Gift Belle Epoque 3D

These French Belle Epoque period pendants would be fun to mix and match as I have seen similar designs, versions and colorings to the roses. Beautiful antique 18k gold pendant in the shape of a rose flower with lifelike details down to the curled petals and extending stem which reaches up to the loop to hang from a chain.

This is a French antique piece in 18k gold with a gorgeous patina and texture. The relief areas are textured satin yellow gold with rich and warm patina, the raised areas have a gorgeous rosy glow. We love to find it on antique gold as it can't be recreated on modern pieces.

Found in France with their hallmark for 18k with a goldsmith stamp. Any chains, props not included. Please note the measurements as I have small hands and it can be difficult to decipher scale from photos, especially with the zoomed images that I am required to present for detail.

MEASUREMENTS:

The piece measures 32mm in height from the bottom of the flower to the top of the attached loop (not including jump ring) by 17mm. It weighs 1. grams and I believe has vacant space between the back panel and the raised flower, like repousse work.

Chain in photos is not included.

IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:

Really nice condition with no dings or dents. Some patina and the recesses, but I didn't want to over scrub it because of the colored application that the piece has. Rich and warm colors in a beautiful glow, very unique goldwork. There's some impressed areas to the back but it may have been made that way as it doesn't look rippled or dented.

Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable and eager to be loved and accepted for many years to come, (the preservation of antique jewelry, even those with signs of their age and history, is important to me. : )
But - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )
