ABOUT:
I love dainty stacker bands and this is a favorite because the antique diamonds in it, which alternate with the sapphires, have a lovely yellow hue! They especially light up a lovely lemon lime color in direct sun. I love diamonds with hues and this is the first I've had one where the alternating diamonds are colored. Such a fun quirk! Everything we love about antique jewelry.
The aforementioned diamonds rotate with sapphires in a comfortable and easy to wear stack with the bezel settings adding a nice geometry. Period appropriate milgrain details to the bezels. Crafted in and hallmarked for 18k gold and platinum.
Antique box not included. Please note the measurements as I have small fingers and it can be difficult to determine scale from pictures.
SIZE & MEASUREMENTS:
It is a size 7, slightly snug. It weighs 3.1 grams.
The sapphires are 3.5mm and 2.7mm. The diamonds are 2.7mm each.
The ring face is 4mm wide north to the south on the finger and it stands 3.8mm tall off the finger.
IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:
Please note the measurements as they are not huge diamonds and the zoomed photos I am required to present sometimes make it look larger. But a beautiful sparkly and colorful stacker. Stones are well set with beautiful coloring but the end sapphires each have abrasions to the surface, as we often find for pieces of this age. The center sapphire also has abrasions but only around the table facets. The end stones are small so it is not glaring.
Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable and eager to be loved and accepted for many years to come, (the preservation of antique jewelry, even those with signs of their age and history, is important to me. : )
But - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )
