ABOUT:
Lovely set of three French antique 18k gold charms or pendants - two depicting Mary and one with a hand engraved chalice image to commemorate first communion. Price is for all together, the two depicting Mary are dated. They can all be stacked together on a necklace or worn separately as charms. Lovely patina in a rich buttery gold with rosy gold highlights.
One Mary medal is in rose, yellow and white gold dated in French for January 19, 1936 with the name Nicole. It has roses at the bottom.
The other Mary medal is in yellow and white gold with the initials NB / BN on the back and the date in French of June 1947.
The communion medal is not engraved.
It would make a beautiful addition to a charm bracelet, necklace, neckmess or neckstack.
HALLMARKS:
All Stamped with the French hallmarks for 18k gold.
The chain in the photos is not included.
MEASUREMENTS:
18-19mm not including the jump rings so that is the height of each to the attached loops at the top. All three combined Weigh 2.6 g.
IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:
All my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. The Mary medal with the roses has a ding on the bottom left side but the design helps mask it. The 1936 medal has dings to the back but they are not visible from the front due to the design. The communion medal is very thin, not a defect, just how it was made. Some surface wear to the gold from wear over the years, a few slight curves or a ripple here or there, nothing terribly distracting. Beautiful patina to the varying colors of gold.
But my disclaimer with all my estate pieces - due to age, please note this piece is not in mint condition.
