I am selling an assortment of vintage to antique jewelry and rings which I have hunted for and gathered one piece at a time from around the world. Some examples seen in the last photo - thanks for stopping by!
ABOUT:
Another recent fave - this richly hued emerald is flanked by a chunky old mine cut diamond on each side, with the three stones propped up on the east west oval ring face. Ornate filigree swirling details accent the gallery. With the north and south flat edges and the bit of height, this one layers well but with the diamonds totaling almost 2 carats alone, it is plenty substantial to wear on its own as well. With additional rose cut accents in each shoulder for added glints of sparkle.
I purchased this one in Sweden last year. It is an Art Deco piece and comes in its original box! We antique jewelry addicts love the antique boxes and this is a fine one in leather with metallic gold tooling and graphics inside the lid.
All stones natural, it's a very fine emerald with a rich and deep true emerald green color, not faint or milky. I enjoy seeing the piece from the side as well where the diamond crowns crop out due to their chunky antique hand cuts. They are lovely in color with a slight pale yellow hue that we love to find on antique stones that came from mines that produced warmer rough during this period.
No hallmarks remain, sold to me as platinum and tested to confirm.
Please note the detailed measurements that I always provide, as I have small fingers and it can be difficult to determine scale from pictures where I am required to show zoomed in detail.
MEASUREMENTS:
Size 6 3/4, slightly over, Weighs 3.5 Grams.
Ring face is 7.6mm north to south, 19mm wide and 3.5mm tall.
The center emerald was sold to me at about a half a carat, although it seems a bit larger to me, it's 6.1x5.3mm. The diamonds are about 6mm each cushion cut, about .9 carat for one and almost 1 carat for the other due to varying depth. So 1.9 carat total weight in diamonds, about 2.5 carat total weight all the gems together.
IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:
I don't prefer to grade my antique diamonds with the modern Four C's scale that was created much later for machine cut diamonds with mathematically perfected facets, but I will pass along the grades as I received them of K-M in color, VS1 and SI2. One is eye clean with very little to be seen even under strong magnification, the other has two linear inclusions and two small indented natural inclusions at the surface of the stone - one off the table and the other on the outside facet edge. The emerald has three flea bites to the table facet that are not really detectible with normal wear and two edges where the inclusion carried up to the surface which is not eye visible. The stones a move slightly but are each held by little bead prongs on all sides. This ring is a colorful, sparkly head turner - Love!
Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable and eager to be loved and accepted for many years to come, (the preservation of antique jewelry, even those with signs of their age and history, is important to me. : )
But - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )

All items hand picked by me, one at a time from all over the world. All listings individually written by me, and not AI, after studying each piece to discuss its beauties and its ; ) eccentricities (which I am picky to point out).
Many of my listings include group shots – I find the comparisons between pieces help show scale, diamond hues, etc. All items in group shots are inventory, but refer to the website to see what items have sold out and to watch for new listings from the grouping to appear on the home page.
