I am selling an assortment of vintage to antique jewelry and rings which I have hunted for and gathered one piece at a time from around the world. Some examples seen in the last photo - thanks for stopping by!

ABOUT:
Personal collection release! I love table cut diamonds, but I have a five stone I wear more frequently so this one is looking for a new home.

I love this one for its geometry, amazing history in the long journey of diamond cutting and for how well it layers with other pieces.

Special piece with age of over 200 years, with the table cut diamonds being even older.

The diamonds are set in silver collets with foil backing to reflect the light. The back of the ring face is layered with gold to prevent tarnish on the finger and the piece has a later but still antique shank in 18k gold (tested, no hallmarks remain which is common for these older pieces).

The ring dates to the Georgian period - early 1800s, with the diamonds being earlier, from the 1700s. The table cut diamonds are one of the earlier methods of diamond cutting and are quite collectible.

Antique box is not included. Please note the detailed measurements that I always provide, as I have small fingers and it can be difficult to determine scale from pictures where I am required to show zoomed in detail.

MEASUREMENTS:
Currently measures a size 6 1/2 on the mandrel, a little over. Weighs 2.6 Grams.

Ring face is 6mm north to south on the finger and end diamond to end diamond is 18mm wide east to west for the wider table cut band.

Exact depth and thereby carat weight is unknown as I would never remove them from the setting. They widen out an unknown amount in the collet setting which wraps up and around the edges of the stone.
Here are the visible measurements of the diamonds in the settings:
The largest table cut is about 5x4mm, then a pair at 4x3.7mm.

IMPORTANT. CONDITION NOTES:

All my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. This ring is over 200 years old. The diamonds read warm to gray from age to the foil. Often times these foil backs appear quite rusty or muddy but these still have a nice reflectivity overall despite some cloudy spots and slighter age. At many angles they still appear white. One corner of one of the smaller stones has a chip, very small leaving an unpolished area. The rest of the stones have no damage. Some wear to the collets from age. These old stones in old settings have a much more subtle sparkle as they were made before electricity was invented and were best viewed by candlelight and firesides.

Shank is slightly out of round with the flat top but still sturdy. Still a fun stacker with a wonderful antique look. But due to age, please note this is not a mint condition item. These need more careful wear as the closed / foiled settings should not get wet as the moisture causes deterioration to the foil and discoloration.

Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable and eager to be loved and accepted for many years to come, (the preservation of antique jewelry, even those with signs of their age and history, is important to me. : )
But - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )

All items hand picked by me, one at a time from all over the world. All listings individually written by me, and not AI, after studying each piece to discuss its beauties and its ; ) eccentricities (which I am picky to point out).

Many of my listings include group shots – I find the comparisons between pieces help show scale, diamond hues, etc. All items in group shots are inventory, but refer to the website to see what items have sold out and to watch for new listings from the grouping to appear on the home page.
