ABOUT:
Impactful and dramatic - extra tall solitaire ring. This antique piece is crafted in 14k white gold with a little old European cut diamond.
Banded shoulders lead to wheat engraved straps that slope up to the ring face.
Also exciting to find that the antique diamond is eye clean with no damage! Really a fine stone and wonderful to find the setting ready for daily wear. This would make a special engagement ring, anniversary or right hand statement ring or a great stacker with nice height and sturdy shoulders.
Stamped 14k inside.
Please note the measurements as I have small fingers and it can be difficult to determine scale from pictures. Antique box is not included.
MEASUREMENTS:
Size 6. With sturdy prongs, but a thin shank for sizing. Usually they say within 2 sizes is a guide but this could possibly handle more - something to discuss with the person doing the work.
The diamond measures about 4.1mm so around a quarter carat?
The piece weighs 1.4 grams.
IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:
The diamond is eye clean with no damage. A beautiful color and clarity with no nicks or chips. Even under magnification it has a wonderful clarity.
Some rub marks to the vertical edges from stacking. The shank is pretty dainty with a blunt edge at the back. The prongs are ready for daily wear.
Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable and eager to be loved and accepted for many years to come, (the preservation of antique jewelry, even those with signs of their age and history, is important to me. : )
But - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )
