The Perfect Chain? Vintage 6.6g 10k Gold Solid Necklace Pendant Holder 1.8mm Gauge Small Curb Link 24 Inches Long

I am back from my inventory trips to Europe and selling an assortment of vintage to antique hand picked pieces which I have hunted for and gathered from around the world. Some examples seen in the last photo - thanks for stopping by!

ABOUT:

A 10k solid gold vintage necklace chain - versatile for use with most average to larger sized pendants with a slightly longer length.

I'm somewhat joking in the title but the reason I called this "The Perfect Chain" is because I have a different chain that I use for staging in all my pendant pictures. It is a Cheap staging chain, I think it's from Target. I've had it for years and have been using it as a background prop for years because it has a nice gauge, patina and length that works with pretty much any of the antique pendants I sell.

If you can believe it, I get more requests to sell that cheapie chain than you can imagine! Everyone always writes, "I like the pendant but is the chain for sale? It's perfect for that pendant," etc. When I tell them it is a cheap plated chain from Target that I use for staging they always understand but to all of you who have ever asked for one similar, now's your chance!

So I got this necklace chain which is nearly identical to the very popular one I use for staging, however this one for sale is far superior in that it IS solid gold, 10k and an actual vintage piece of good quality with great patina. It's a treasure compared to the one I use for staging, but it has a pretty much identical gauge, link, patina and length as the one everyone seems to love so much.

No hallmarks but sold to me as such and tested.

Antique boxes / any additional items in displays in photos are not included. Please note the measurements as I have small fingers and it can be difficult to determine scale from pictures.

MEASUREMENTS:
It weighs 6.6g. Stretched end to end it's 24 1/4 inches.

IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:

The spring ring is not super tight and springy, it feels a bit weak but it does close itself and stay closed so I didn't have any issues with it opening on its own.

Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable and eager to be loved and accepted for many years to come, (the preservation of antique jewelry, even those with signs of their age and history, is important to me. : )
But - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )
