ABOUT:
Versatile and popular Vintage to Art Deco diamond studs. The elegant prong settings are the perfect holder to highlight the old transitional cut diamonds. They measure around half a carat each for a total carat weight of 1 carat for the pair. Timeless pair to live in or dress up or down.

The screw backs are hallmarked for 14k gold.
Any props, boxes, etc. not included. Please note the measurements as I have small hands and it can be difficult to decipher scale from photos.
SIZE & MEASUREMENTS:
Each stone is about 5mm and about half a carat for a combined weight of 1 carat for the pair. They weigh 1.1 grams combined. The back of the pronged setting measuring up to holding the diamonds stands 4.7mm off the earlobe.
IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:
Typical antique diamonds - one has a carbon spot which is eye visible and a smaller line of carbon. The other has smaller tiny carbon specks not eye visible and some frosty flecks and crystal speck inclusions. They have a nice white color and a lovely sparkle. One has a flake of loss to the underside of the girdle seen under magnification. The screw backs are the type that the post reaches the little looped handle and can't be tightened any further but the screw backs are nice and tight.
Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable and eager to be loved and accepted for many years to come, (the preservation of antique jewelry, even those with signs of their age and history, is important to me. : )
But - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )
