Two for One NECKLACE BRACELET 20g 18k Gold Changeable French Belle Epoque Floral Garland Heavy Chain Forget Me Not Pearls Ornate Victorian

ABOUT:

This is a fun one - combination bracelet and necklace chain. This one came to me combined and I like the versatility of it so I decided to sell it as such. The ornate Belle Epoque bracelet has a floral garland design with pearls at the center of each alternating setting. It is 7 3/4 inches in length.

Added to this is a simpler chain with marquise links and filigree details. This brings the length to 16 3/4 inches to wear the pieces as a necklace! The marquise link chan may have been a watch chain due to its length alone of 9 inches.

Both pieces are antique and suit each other well. Both French and crafted in and hallmarked for 18k gold / all four loops, 2 on each piece are stamped.

Fun to layer with ornate details and simple geometry, you can wear the flowers to the front, or back, or side to add a unique accent to your neckmess.

Please note the measurements as I have small fingers and it can be difficult to determine scale from pictures.

IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:

Beautiful patina and gold work. There is adhesive around each of the pearls. This could likely be cleaned up but it adds a bit of warmth to them, we see this in pieces with pearls of this age because they often used adhesive originally to secure them. One shows the gold peg as the pearl has some cracks to it. The spring rings aren't super springy considering age of over 100 years but they do close and stay closed so it is secure to wear.

Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable and eager to be loved and accepted for many years to come, (the preservation of antique jewelry, even those with signs of their age and history, is important to me. : )
But - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )
