ABOUT:
Here's a fun and unique one that I got in Spain with a gorgeous pop of color and old mine cut diamond sparkle.
At the center we have a larger vibrant pink marquise cut ruby which is accented by six old mine cut diamonds and four smaller triangular cut rubies.
This one makes a nice statement or cocktail ring and I also like it as a power pointer. Comfortable to wear with a low profile and bezel settings that won't catch on things.
I would never take the ring apart but I am assuming the rubies are synthetic looking at the vibrant colors and clarity. Great movement to the piece with the bypass shank, swirling ring face and the interesting way the marquise cut ruby is set at an angle.
Sold to me as 18k gold and platinum and tested to confirm.
Antique box / props not included. Please note the measurements as I have small fingers and it can be difficult to determine scale from pictures.
MEASUREMENTS:

Weight 3.9 grams
Ring face is 18.5mm north south and 4.1mm tall off the finger.
The diamonds are each 3mm give or take with a total carat weight of around .6 to .7 carat in diamonds alone.
IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:
The old mine cut diamonds are a mixed bag, some with a slight warmth, one is a bit milky, some natural inclusions, frosty specks and some natural inclusions that carry up to the surface leaving a little notch at one facet. One diamond has some chips to the outside edge but still appears complete and fills the setting so there is nothing glaring. The one that is a bit milky I think might be a replacement, while it is still an old cut and overall well matching, it has some tiny claw prongs added to reinforce it there. Again nothing really jumps out because the diamonds aren't that large. A few nicks to the rubies but the center one is in excellent condition. Sturdy hand feel and nice scale.
Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable and eager to be loved and accepted for many years to come, (the preservation of antique jewelry, even those with signs of their age and history, is important to me. : )
But - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )
