ABOUT:

This is a fun and unique one! This French vintage band is open at the face with bypass fabrication. Each side is set with blue sapphires that are custom cut to fit just so in the geometric angled bezels at the end of each side. Six stones in all with wonderful true blue color. The smallest stones being just slightly lighter more cornflower blue under magnification.

Adds an interesting geometry to a ring stack.

Found in France, with their hallmark for 18k gold and a goldsmith stamp.

Please note the measurements as I have small fingers and it can be difficult to determine scale from pictures. Antique box is not included.

MEASUREMENTS:
Currently measures a size 5 3/4. It bends slightly since it is open at the face where I could force it further down the mandrel but I'm not sure if it would stay flexed open, I didn't want to risk it. I'm also not sure about sizing a ring with this fabrication so that would be something to discuss with your local jeweler who would be doing the work.
It weighs 2.6 grams. Ring face is 10mm north to south.

CONDITION NOTES:

Some buildup between the stones with a few small gaps under magnification. One of the larger stones has a tiny chip to the tip and one of the smallest has some nibbles on the inside edge but with them nested into the ring face you'd really have to seek it out to detect it. It is not visible to my eyes which are in their forties : ). Lovely color and they have a nice sheen and polish with no dullness or abrasions to the top facing surfaces of the stones.

Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable and eager to be loved and accepted for many years to come, (the preservation of antique jewelry, even those with signs of their age and history, is important to me. : )
But - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )

Very sweet piece from a very special era. I enjoy making my customers happy and matching unique pieces with new homes. Please feel free to reach out to me with any questions! It means a lot to me that you are visiting my shop! : )
