ABOUT:
A fun stacker with a pop of color and unique movement. This asymmetrical band sort of swirls and twists across the finger. It is set with three beautiful green emeralds and three princess cut diamonds.
This one is fun to layer with flat bands because it adds a fun "twist" to your average ringstack. It could also be a nod to a toi et moi ring with the two sections of contrasting channel set gems contributing towards the whole.
I purchased this in Sweden but it apparently came from the UK as it has their stamps for 18k, London, date 1987. It's in excellent condition with little to no wear to the stones but I actually wonder if it is possibly even older (often times vintage pieces get re-stamped at later dates), because it has an older style maker's stamp inside which is worn, I couldn't decipher it. But it is for sure vintage, 1987 at the very latest.
Antique box not included. Please note the measurements as I have small hands and it can be difficult to decipher scale from photos, especially with the zoomed images that I am required to present for detail.
SIZE & MEASUREMENTS:
Size 7
Weight 2.4g
The ring face is 2.8mm north south just measuring the channel setting but spanning a larger footprint on the finger with the twist. The ring stands about 2.8mm tall off the finger as well so the twisted band is a square at the ring face.
IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:
Little to no wear - offered in excellent condition.
The diamond faces up bright white which is an awesome contrast to the vibrant true green of the emerald. They both have natural inclusions. The diamond has a carbon spot and some frosty specks around the culet. It has an indented natural inclusion at a wider part of the girdle. The emerald has a nick to the inside edge of the girdle but still appears complete in its shape within the setting until you seek it out.
Please note that I take some photos / videos in the sunshine because it captures the lovely color and sparkle, but it also highlights any surface wear, scratches, abrasions, buildup or inclusions that can catch the light, making these things appear worse than they would with normal day to day wear. : ) Hopefully the pics in all lightning conditions help as they serve as part of the description.
Please also note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable and eager to be loved and accepted for many years to come, (the preservation of antique jewelry, even those with signs of their age and history, is important to me. : )
But - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )

All items hand picked by me, one at a time from all over the world. All listings individually written by me, and not AI, after studying each piece to discuss its beauties and its ; ) eccentricities (which I am picky to point out).
Many of my listings include group shots – I find the comparisons between pieces help show scale, diamond hues, etc. All items in group shots are inventory, but refer to the website to see what items have sold out and to watch for new listings from the grouping to appear on the home page.
