Unique Four Stone Rose Cut Diamond Antique Victorian Stacker Ring 18k Gold Skinny Band Half Hoop Ball Rivet

Not very often we find four stone rings - I usually see them in 5, 7 or 9. This one is set with rose cuts in an open back setting. Antique ring found in Spain, sturdy reeded shank with little ball rivet details at each shoulder. Unique triangular prongs at the corner of each stone which are topped in white precious metal as was customary for the period (I don't scratch test prongs for fear of damage).

Definitely an antique look with the rough cut antique stones! The rose cuts are thinly cut like disks and set in prongs with open backs compared to the many closed back and foiled settings we see, making it easier to wear, clean, etc. as it can get wet. Note the diamonds are imperfect though.

Antique box is not included. Please note the detailed measurements that I always provide, as I have small fingers and it can be difficult to determine scale from pictures where I am required to show zoomed in detail.

MEASUREMENTS:
Currently measures a size 5 1/4 on the mandrel, a little over. Weighs 2.6 Grams.

Ring face is 5mm north to south on the finger and end diamond to end diamond is 17mm wide east to west.

Exact carat weight is unknown as depths vary and I would never remove them from the setting. They each measure about 3 to 3.8mm.

IMPORTANT. CONDITION NOTES:

All my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. The diamonds absolutely show signs of age and plenty of wear. They all have rough edges and frosty spots. Some of the stones have less facets and appear almost see through in the way they reflect the light at certain angles. They have chipped edges, some out of round and the center stone is warmer in color. Sold as is as my diamond bands usually go for significantly more, this is one for those who like an antique look!

Very sturdy shank and the prongs are still holding each stone securely.

Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable and eager to be loved and accepted for many years to come, (the preservation of antique jewelry, even those with signs of their age and history, is important to me. : )
But - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )
