I am selling an assortment of vintage to antique jewelry and rings which I have hunted for and gathered from around the world, including several stackable bands.
ABOUT:
The stacking options on this delightful vintage band make this one a versatile add to any jewelry box. While I usually go for antiques I could resist the design of this interesting ring.
Found in France, this one has geometry, sparkle, a sort of retro feel and a unique beveled or peaked design where the diamonds are channel set at an angle on each side. The diamonds are step cut falling into the baguette or carre cut category. There are 13 on each side and 26 in total.
This one pairs great with other diamond bands, old and new, and even looks great with plain bands or in a mixed metal stack. The shank is knife edge all the way around.
Found in France. It has their hallmark for 18k gold and also has several stamps inside.
Antique box not included. Please note the measurements as I have small hands and it can be difficult to decipher scale from photos, especially with the zoomed images that I am required to present for detail.
SIZE & MEASUREMENTS:
Size 6, a little over, Weighs 4.1 grams.
6.4mm north south and 4.5mm deep.
The diamonds are 2 to 2.4mm each. This is just measuring the exposed portions as they extend into the channel setting. Tough to estimate carat weight as they taper slightly and have varying shapes but over a carat total weight in diamonds.
IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:
Nice quality diamonds with no glaring inclusions and nothing eye visible. Well matching, they look a bit gray at some angels due to how they are set at an angle and due to the step cuts. A few gaps under magnification between stones but all well set and sturdy. No chips or damage.
Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable and eager to be loved and accepted for many years to come, (the preservation of antique jewelry, even those with signs of their age and history, is important to me. : )
But - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )
