ABOUT:
Antique Victorian watch chain that I got in France with intricate 18k solid gold links. The chain is sort of a box chain or foxtail link. Nice quality hand feel with the useful connectors on each end which are collectible in their own right.
Glowing warm, buttery and rosy, rich antique yellow gold from age and patina. This delicious sought after hue is special because it can't be found on modern gold.
Also making this one special are the Victorian era hallmarks used primarily in the 1800s and discontinued by the very early 1900s.
Note the short length of 14 1/4 inch. It does fit me as a necklace and could potentially wrap it double as a bracelet, or connect it to another chain as a longer necklace, or add a decorative extender. Always a lot of options these days with connectors / extenders in a neckmess / neckstack. Please double check the measurements as to how it would wear on you as we all come in wonderfully different shapes and sizes.

Antique boxes / items in displays in photos are not included. Please note the measurements as I have small hands and it can be difficult to decipher scale from photos, especially with the zoomed images that I am required to present for detail.
MEASUREMENTS:
It weighs 9.55g. Stretched end to end it's 14 1/4 inches long. The chains are each about 1.6mm gauge.
IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:
All orinal condition - the slightest curve or ripple to the chain here or there but no sharp kinks, welds or repairs. It's pretty awesome for age of about 150 years.
Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable and eager to be loved and accepted for many years to come, (the preservation of antique jewelry, even those with signs of their age and history, is important to me. : )
But - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )
