Champagne taste on a beer budget?
In an effort to offer antiques at all budgets and price points - My next stock drop consists of all vintage and antique pieces in gold fill (or other).  Great to wear when traveling and make excellent gifts!

All are being sold as is, in pre-owned condition with signs of age and wear.  No returns as many of these are sold at or near what I paid for them and I am just trying to match them with loving homes, for the love of antiques and gold fill since I started out my career dealing in these.

ABOUT:

Sweet little Extra Long slider necklace from the Victorian to Art Nouveau era.  This was originally a watch chain that they used for their pocket watches with the little slider charm for decoration. This was originally worn with the chain tucked into a woman's belt, and the watch dangled from there.  

The slider is in the shape of two hearts, one with a moon design holding two seed pearls and a little red paste, the other with a starburst design set with an opal.  Each link has a textured design to it in the recesses.

Since it is a continuous chain attached to the clasp and it doesn't open, it can be worn several ways - doubled and slipped over the head with the slider on the side or bottom.  Or you could attach a locket or pendant to the clasp fob and use the slider as an added element to your necklace.  You can wear it with the clip hidden in the back / or it can be connected from clasp to end.  It could also make a very cute bracelet if you can get it to size right.  : ). 

It has a nice patina that is age appropriate and authentic.  Warm and slightly rosy overall.  Some discoloration to the chain in a few areas, some brassy spots.  Some verdigris in the recesses that could likely be cleaned up but I didn't soak it.  Warm to rosy hues typical for antique GF.  Note the slide probably originally had cork to hold it in place.  It sort of slides at will now so you'd have to add a jump ring to secure it on the chain links if desired or wear it so it rests at the front.  Adhesive buildup around the center stone.

MEASUREMENTS:

24.25 inches long stretched end to end doubled so about 48 inches of linear antique chain (4 feet!).  3mm wide chain gauge.  The slide is 15x7.5mm.

Antique boxes, props, extras, etc are not included. Listing is for the one piece shown in the cover photo. Please note the measurements as I have small hands and it can be difficult to determine scale from pics. We lovelies all come in wonderfully unique shapes and sizes : ) - some of these are short chains or dainty earrings. 

IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:
Surface wear. These often need an occasional re-polish after sitting in the jewelry box for a long time (at least compared to high carat solid gold).
Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable and eager to be loved and accepted for many years to come, (the preservation of antique jewelry, even those with signs of their age and history, is important to me. : ) They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. They are all still wearable. Sold as is.
Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )
