VICTORIAN Era Antique French 18k Gold Chain Necklace Cube Ball Rivet Pendant Holder Warm Glow
ABOUT:
It's that time of year again for Mouse to clean out her house! So I'll be bringing you some releases from my personal collection this week including this one!
This is a fun chain with a fabulous design and a great antique look. Victorian era French antique chain crafted in 18k gold. My favorite thing about it is the way it can catch the light where the gold actually "sparkles" and shimmers when it catches the surface off the cube links. It is an interesting one to wear alone but also adds a great texture layered with other chains. It's just like I said... interesting! The little oval cable link chains lead to the interspersed sections of fancy links which has a 3D puffy oval in the center that has little beaded rivet details all the way around. These pieces are flanked by a cube link on each side.
And it has that beautiful, unmatched French antique patina with the rich warm glow to the 18k gold and slight rosiness from age. So lovely and sought after since it can't be found on modern gold pieces.
French antique hallmarks on the loop and spring ring for 18k gold - multiple of them indicating all parts solid 18k gold.
Any props or additional items not included. Please note the measurements as I have small fingers and it can be difficult to determine scale from pictures.
MEASUREMENTS:
17 3/4 inch in length.
The oval links are 11mm form loop to loop and 4.6mm deep to give you an idea of scale. The cable links are about 1.5mm gauge. The piece weighs 9.6g
IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:
All my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. Perfect rich antique patina, no crushed links or dents or deep / sharp dings. A few tiny smaller than pinhead holes to one or two of the puffy oval links but this is not eye visible. A few nicks to a link here or there.
Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable and eager to be loved and accepted for many years to come, (the preservation of antique jewelry, even those with signs of their age and history, is important to me. : )
But - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )
