ABOUT:

A unique French vintage stacker with five brilliant cut diamonds measuring 1.35 carat total in a slightly raised bezel settings. The diamonds are uniform in size giving the piece a fantastic stackability. The ring shoulders and shank are wide as well, extending from the bezel to again make it great for layering. Crafted in glowing 18k solid gold. Nice geometry, bright white color and sparkle.

I could actually see this one in a wedding set. It layers really well but is substantial and interesting to wear alone. It is an older vintage ring with some patina between the settings. Low profile and very comfortable to wear. A timeless and wearable piece!

French hallmarks for 18k gold with faint / worn goldsmith stamp.
Antique box is not included. Please note the measurements as I have small fingers and it can be difficult to determine scale from pictures.

MEASUREMENTS:
Size 6 1/2 slightly over.

The ring face is 4.4mm north to south and stands 3mm off the finger. It weighs 2.85 grams. The diamond are about 4.2mm each. I would not remove the stones to measure them but around 1.35 carat total weight in diamonds.

IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:

All my pieces are preowned and in estate condition. Often times flush set diamonds may appear subdued because they are set lower into the gold setting to reflect the light differently than when diamonds are propped up in prongs to catch the light. This one however still reads as bright white with wonderful sparkle.
Some of the diamonds are eye clean, one has a smattering of tiny carbon specks very slightly eye visible. One has a cloudy inclusion right up against the bezel and one has an area of crystal inclusions extending to a needle. The latter is really the most eye visible, but not glaring, seen more when you are seeking it out. That is the most noticeable in regards to inclusions but the center stone has a small chip with some loss to the girdle edge resulting in some flakes of loss to the underside of the stone extending from the girdle, resulting in a cloudy spot and a small gap between the edge of the stone and the bezel. Again not super glaring but something to look for in photos, which has a strong zoom feature to magnify all the aforementioned notices much more than would be seen with normal wear.

Some patina to the setting, rub marks from stacking to the vertical edges and a bit of unevenness between the gold bezels but this is just how it was made back in the day, it does not appear to have had any repairs. Edge of the shank is a bit blunt from age and wear. Fun one to wear and stack with the best geometry!

Please also note that I take some photos / videos in the sunshine because it captures the lovely color and sparkle, but it also highlights any surface wear, scratches, abrasions, buildup or inclusions that can catch the light, making these things appear worse than they would with normal day to day wear. : ) Hopefully the pics in all lightning conditions help as they serve as part of the description.

But as with all my estate pieces - Please note this is not a mint condition item. I have additional photos/video on my website besides those allowed here so feel free to request additional.

Thanks so much for looking at my items!

Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable and eager to be loved and accepted for many years to come, (the preservation of antique jewelry, even those with signs of their age and history, is important to me. : )
But - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )

Many of my listings include group shots – I find the comparisons between pieces help show scale, diamond hues, etc. All items in group shots are inventory, but refer to the website to see what items have sold out and to watch for new listings from the grouping to appear on the home page.
