I am selling an assortment of vintage to antique jewelry and rings which I have hunted for and gathered from around the world, including several stackable bands.
ABOUT:
So money fun details to this antique eternity band. Firstly, it is in high 22k gold, pure butter, almost 92% pure / solid gold. Next it has a nice geometry with a faceting to the gold giving it a panel like appearance all the way around. And then my favorite part are the hand engravings we see rotating on every other facet with the design more on the vertical edge then along the top, so it adds interest from all angles.
Found in the UK with their hallmarks for 22k gold, London. It the O date stamp which can be hard to decipher from one font to the next. I am going to go with a date of manufacture of 1949, the font of the date stamp is very close to the one used at the end of the 1800s and again at the beginning of the 1900s so it is possible it is significantly older, but it's quite crisp. Since it isn't showing a lot of the wear we typically see on 100+ year old pieces, I'm going with the latter date to be safe.
Super fun to wear and stack, love those sweet engraved details. I actually bought it for my personal collection but it's a bit too big for me.
Antique box not included. Please note the measurements as I have small hands and it can be difficult to decipher scale from photos, especially with the zoomed images that I am required to present for detail.
SIZE & MEASUREMENTS:
Size 6.5, Weighs 3.7 grams.
2mm north south by 2.4mm deep so a nice thickness and sturdy hand feel despite being a skinny band.
IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:
No damage, super legible and ready for regular wear. This isn't a comfort fit so the gold is not rounded, the edge can feel a bit edgy but that is just how it was made. I don't find it uncomfortable to wear in the list and stacking always helps this.
Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable and eager to be loved and accepted for many years to come, (the preservation of antique jewelry, even those with signs of their age and history, is important to me. : )
But - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )
