ABOUT:
Ever popular diamond tennis bracelet in yellow gold. This one is crafted in 14k with 43 diamonds including the one that hides the clasp. Totals around 3 1/2 carats total weight in natural diamonds, maybe a bit more.
I usually go for old cut diamonds but I was trying to source a good vintage diamond bracelet for my sister in law's jewelry bucket list. She's been wanting one for years so it was time for her lifetime's greatest Christmas wish to come true and I thought this was a great option. We ended up finding an even better fit for her from 1122andCo who I just met on Instagram so the Christmas gift was answered and I can't thank 1122 & Co. enough for the help and kindness. Anyway, we found the perfect fit for sis which means this popular linear beauty (that she and I both love but could only choose one : ) is now available in the shop. This is a nice one in that the fabrication doesn't allow it to roll on the wrist, so the diamonds are always sparkling face up.
It has a two push button hidden clasp along with a latch that clips closed at the back to make sure the clasp can never open on its own. Always nice when these valuable pieces have the additional safety measures. It is stamped on the back of the clasp 14k.
43 diamonds, all bright and lively, each in a slightly chubby depth-wise four pronged setting. The diamonds all have frosted girdles (seen only under magnification) so this one is definitely vintage but all brilliant cuts. No dark carbon or glaring inclusions. Just a versatile ready to wear staple.
Please note the measurements as I have small hands and it can be difficult to decipher scale from photos.
MEASUREMENTS:
7 inches in length. The diamonds are about 2.7 to 2.8mm each. Depths of the settings are 3.2mm off the wrist. Weight is 12.5 grams.
IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:
Not a super clicky clasp but functions and the added safety clip ensures it isn't going anywhere. Faint natural inclusions to the diamonds only under magnification, a speck here or there. Nothing really seen by the eye. A bit of wear to a prong here or there but as expected pre owned vintage piece. Beautiful as alone or in a wriststack.
Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable and eager to be loved and accepted for many years to come, (the preservation of antique jewelry, even those with signs of their age and history, is important to me. : )
But - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )
