Vintage .85 Carat Five DIAMOND Halo Set Pendants 14k Gold Station Chain Necklace Layering Shimmer Minimalist Diamonds by the Yard 22" Long

ABOUT:

This is a versatile layering chain in the style of "diamonds by the yard." The vintage 14k cable chain holds five brilliant cut diamonds evenly spaced at the front. Each eye clean, bright white and sparkly diamond is suspended in open work gold halo settings. Total carat weight for the necklace is about 0.85 carat.

It's a fun chain because the settings are almost reversible. When flipped you can see the pavilions of the stones but the settings appear the same on each side so that when you wear it, it can flip and roll around for plenty of sparkle.

This is an older vintage piece with older brilliant cut diamonds. They are not old Euros as there are no open culets and they have more modern faceting but they have frosted girdles compared to the polished ones of present day.

Chain is hallmarked 14k.

Please note the measurements as I have small fingers and it can be difficult to determine scale from pictures.

SIZE & MEASUREMENTS:

Each diamond is about 3.5mm and about .85 carat total weight - this is an estimate as I would not remove them for exact weight.
The chain is 22 inches in length.
Each diamond pendant in halo setting is 7mm.
Weight: 6.3g
The chain gauge is 1.5mm.

IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:

The diamonds are eye clean, just a few tiny frosty specks seen under magnification. No damage. Prongs look excellent. Ready for regular wear!

Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable and eager to be loved and accepted for many years to come, (the preservation of antique jewelry, even those with signs of their age and history, is important to me. : )
But - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )
