ABOUT:
Beautiful French vintage blue sapphire full eternity skinny band. I purchased this in a pair along with an emerald eternity band on my recent inventory trip to France. They are offered as singles but stack perfectly together as they were sized accordingly with the emerald being just 1/4 size larger to stack with it. Would be fun to nest above and below another diamond or gold band for a pop of color in a fabulous stack.
Listing is for the one sapphire band. Emerald is listed separately. The rectangular channel set sapphires have a beautiful color and glow. Nice linear geometry.
When you see the side views and see impressions to the gold - this is not damage, nor dings nor dents! These are the French hallmarks. For 18k gold and a goldsmith stamp.
Please note the measurements as I have small fingers and the pictures can make it difficult to see scale. Antique box is not included.
SIZE & MEASUREMENTS:
Size 6.
3mm north south by 2.5mm tall off the finger.
The piece weighs just under 3 grams.
IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:
Some slightly varying hues which we love to see and some faint natural inclusions under magnification. Only one stone has a tiny nibble. The rest have a lovely sheen and polish. Sturdy and ready to wear.
Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable and eager to be loved and accepted for many years to come, (the preservation of antique jewelry, even those with signs of their age and history, is important to me. : )
But - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )
