ABOUT:
Born to stack! This one is so fun to mix and match. I love it alone, I love it with a bypass setting. I love it with a yellow gold band. I love it facing up or down. My MHA peeps know I tend to carry mostly older pieces But! I always carry what I like and this one is just so pretty and versatile.
This chevron V ring is a vintage ring with older brilliant cut diamonds - not as old as transitional, European or Mine, but with frosted girdles indicating they are not modern stones either. They graduate slightly in size for all over glitter. This one is a true half hoop where the stones extend all the way to the adjacent fingers.
Crafted in and hallmarked for 14k in white gold. I also have a bypass emerald cut diamond ring that this nests well with. My dealer friend who I bought it from (she's the best) put me on to the idea of pairing them and I really love it. For those of us who love stacking. It also wears beautifully alone as a more minimalist piece with a wonderful sparkle.
There are 21 diamonds in all. The center five are slightly raised graduating down to the line of smaller stones on each side that are set closer into the shank.
Antique box not included. Please note the measurements as I have small fingers and it can be difficult to determine scale from pictures.
SIZE & MEASUREMENTS:
It slightly snug size 6 1/2. It weighs 1.9 grams.
The largest center diamond is 2.3mm, graduating down to 1.3mm.
The ring face is about 7mm wide north to the south on the finger and it stands 2.6mm tall off the finger.
IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:
Some faint frosty or speck inclusions but the stones are not super big so there is nothing glaring. Bright white color, lively with a lot of sparkle to the piece. No major condition issues.
Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable and eager to be loved and accepted for many years to come, (the preservation of antique jewelry, even those with signs of their age and history, is important to me. : )
But - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )
