I am selling an assortment of vintage to antique jewelry and rings which I have hunted for and gathered from around the world. Some examples seen in the last photo - thanks for stopping by!
ABOUT:
I usually go for old cut stones but these bezel set brilliant cut diamonds are so comfortable and classic that I thought I'd grab them for the shop to offer them up. Comfortable with the bezel settings with little arrow like details above. The earrings have spring loaded lever backs to hold to the ear wires.
Vintage, elegant, timeless and sparkly. Nice and bright white in color. Stamped 14k.
Any boxes, props not included. Please note the measurements as I have small fingers and it can be difficult to determine scale from pictures. Some of my buyers draw them out to get an idea of scale.
SIZE & MEASUREMENTS:
They measure about 20mm top to bottom. The pair weighs 1.2g combined.
The diamonds on measure 4.9 and 5mm, about a half carat each give or take. Around a carat total weight for the pair.
IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:
Sturdy bezel settings. The backs are still spring loaded although one is a little weak at the end of the motion so the lever can miss the ear wire. You just have to be mindful when putting them on to guide that one into place so the ear wire rests in the hinged back. Once there, it stays there so there is no danger of it coming free, it's just that when you snap it shut, the back can miss the ear wire if that makes sense. Because of this, I wouldn't advise sleeping in them but other than that they are fine for regular wear.
One has some crystal pocket inclusions and is estimated around an SI. One has quite a few formations of frost that reflect around and a carbon spot so that one is closer to I so they are priced accordingly. They have a nice bright white color. Sturdy bezels, pretty little danglers to dress up or down.
Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable and eager to be loved and accepted for many years to come, (the preservation of antique jewelry, even those with signs of their age and history, is important to me. : )
But - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )
