Back from my summer inventory trips to several countries / cities in Europe. I am selling an assortment of vintage to antique jewelry and rings which I have hunted for and gathered one at a time from around the world. Some examples seen in the last photo - thanks for stopping by!
ABOUT:
This Sweden find is a vintage ring but I thought the color and design was so pretty!
At first look, it appears like a gypsy band with rectangular lavender amethyst set east west in prongs. But as a fun accent, you can see sloped recesses between each prong that are topped in white gold and set with diamonds for sparkle and contrast.
Vintage piece with Swedish hallmarks for 18k gold, date stamp 1958. Nice height and dome to this retro piece with wide band footprint on the finger for stacking.
Antique boxes, props, mice, dishes ; ) not included. Please note the measurements as I have small fingers and it can be difficult to determine scale from pictures.
MEASUREMENTS:
Size 6 1/2.
Ring face is 10.9mm north south and 5.5mm off the finger. The amethyst is 8x6mm. It weighs 2.75 grams.
IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:
In really nice condition, the stones have a wonderful sheen and polish, no nicks or chips. The edge of the shank is a bit blunt from wear.
Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable and eager to be loved and accepted for many years to come, (the preservation of antique jewelry, even those with signs of their age and history, is important to me. : )
But - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )
