I am selling an assortment of vintage to antique jewelry and rings which I have hunted for and gathered from around the world, including several stackable bands.
ABOUT:
I love floral jewelry and stackable bands and this is such a pretty one. The hand engraved flowers are spaced between sections of reeded / ribbed shank to give the piece a wonderful texture. The detail continues to the vertical edges of the band where hand engraved linear patterns were added all the way around. Like a pipe cut / cigar band on the north south edges, this one stacks perfectly for wear as a wedding band or layered with really anything. Or a minimalist statement alone.
Note that there is no discoloration to the gold, some of the pics just reflect the green leaves outside the window.
Hallmarked for 14k with the maker, the marks don't look super old so while it is definitely vintage, I don't think it extends to the 100 year old antique period.
Antique box not included. Please note the measurements as I have small hands and it can be difficult to decipher scale from photos, especially with the zoomed images that I am required to present for detail.
SIZE & MEASUREMENTS:
Size 6.25, Weighs 1.3 grams.
2.5mm north south by 1.1mm deep with a stable hand feel.
IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:
No damage, super legible and ready for regular wear. This isn't a comfort fit so the gold is not rounded, the edge can feel a bit edgy but that is just how it was made. I don't find it uncomfortable to wear in the list and stacking always helps this, but maybe wouldn't want to wear it too tightly on a finger if one is concerned with how it feels on the finger.
Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable and eager to be loved and accepted for many years to come, (the preservation of antique jewelry, even those with signs of their age and history, is important to me. : )
But - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )
