I am selling an assortment of vintage to antique jewelry and rings which I have hunted for and gathered from around the world, including several stackable bands.
ABOUT:
I love floral jewelry and stackable bands and this is a unique one. The hand engraved flowers alternate with little faceted pyramid sections to give the piece a wonderful geometry, texture and uniqueness with the engraving. Like a pipe cut / cigar band on the north south edges, this one stacks perfectly for wear as a wedding band or layered with really anything.
It's at least vintage with the London date stamp for 1955 but I wonder if it might be older and was restamped in the 50s because the maker's mark looks antique and is not uniform with the date marks. Crafted in 9k gold with UK hallmarks.
Antique box not included. Please note the measurements as I have small hands and it can be difficult to decipher scale from photos, especially with the zoomed images that I am required to present for detail.
SIZE & MEASUREMENTS:
Size 5, Weighs 2.15 grams.
2.9mm north south by 2mm deep with the pyramids so a nice thickness and sturdy hand feel.
IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:
No damage, super legible and ready for regular wear. This isn't a comfort fit so the gold is not rounded, the edge can feel a bit edgy but that is just how it was made. I don't find it uncomfortable to wear in the list and stacking always helps this, but maybe wouldn't want to wear it too tightly on a finger if one is concerned with how it feels on the finger.
Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable and eager to be loved and accepted for many years to come, (the preservation of antique jewelry, even those with signs of their age and history, is important to me. : )
But - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )
