ABOUT:
This ring is a bit more funky retro vintage compared to my normal antique focused inventory but I love stackable bands and the cut and color the chalcedony with the braid and rivet designs of the band just give it so many fun elements.
The green chalcedony stones, of which there are three of them, are a unique pointed pyramid cut set with the diamond shape east to west in bezels. They are spaced evenly around the band and crop out amidst the braided panels.
Nice vintage patina and a chunky footprint with that unique shape and color. Found in the UK. No hallmarks remain but tests at 10k.
Antique box is not included. Please note the measurements.
MEASUREMENTS:
Size 6 3/4. Band is 5mm north to south. 2.5 at the domed band to 4.2mm tall / deep to the top of the pyramid stones. It weighs a sturdy 4.9 grams.
IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:
One of the stones has a chip to one corner but still fills the bezel setting pretty well in terms of color filling the space. I would wear that one to the back but it isn't super glaring.
Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable and eager to be loved and accepted for many years to come, (the preservation of antique jewelry, even those with signs of their age and history, is important to me. : )
Please also note that I take some photos / videos in the sunshine because it captures the lovely color and sparkle, but it also highlights any surface wear, scratches, abrasions, buildup or inclusions that can catch the light, making these things appear worse than they would with normal day to day wear. : ) Hopefully the pics in all lightning conditions help as they serve as part of the description.
But - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )
