ABOUT:

Another vintage ring, this one has a great retro vibe and lots of fun color and sparkle. I usually go for older pieces but sometimes I come across these vintage ones and just buy what I like and would wear so I snagged this one from my partners in France.

At the center is a rectangular cut natural emerald with a vibrant and glowing green color.

It is a natural emerald with natural inclusions, no cracks - please note that I take some photos and videos in the sunshine to show color and sparkle, but it really lights up and highlights the inclusions much more than with normal day to day wear. Hopefully the pics in all lighting conditions help - see my website for more.

On each side of the emerald are a trio of brilliant cut diamonds for added sparkle. The emerald is set in a tall demi bezel that flares slightly to raise the emerald front and center amidst this seven stone ring face. Sturdy shank, wonderful sparkle, color and sheen.

Found in France with the 750 hallmark used in Europe for 18k gold and a goldsmith stamp. There is also an old serial number stamped inside.

Antique box not included. Please note the measurements as I have small fingers and it can be difficult to determine scale from pictures.

SIZE & MEASUREMENTS:
Size 8 3/4 but a sturdy piece that is sizable. The ring face 10mm north south. It is 7mm tall off the finger. The emerald is about 8.5 by 7.5mm and the diamonds are each about 2.7mm.
It weighs 6.1 grams.

IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:

The emerald has inclusions that can catch the light but is is a stable stone. One are of inclusions shows a bit of warmth. One inclusion carries up to the table and leaves a small indented natural inclusion crossing into the table. There are some smaller surface abrasions to the table facet, little nibbles but the table has a nice sheen and there are no deep chips or cracks. It is not dull or matte finish like many heavily abraided stones can appear. It just has signs of wear and the rest are natural characteristics of the stone. The brilliant cut diamonds are nice and bright, no glaring issues with them either. Sturdy setting and wearable piece!

Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable and eager to be loved and accepted for many years to come, (the preservation of antique jewelry, even those with signs of their age and history, is important to me. : )
But - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )
