Vintage Uniquely Cut Diamond Ring with Halo Accents 14k Gold Geometric Minimalist Stacker

ABOUT:
I usually go for older pieces with old cut diamonds but this one was still unique enough for me to grab it. That in addition to the fact that I really liked the seller when I met him in Madrid so I was happy to buy from him and though this was an interesting little cutie. : )

This is a vintage ring crafted in 14k gold. The center diamond has a really interesting cut, the crown is faceted like a briollette diamond which is so interesting! It is not a briollette since it has a small table and a girdle and pavilion, but it's that unique faceting that hooked me.

It's a dainty thing, so that interesting faceting is really more noticeable when you are studying it close up but it has a nice twinkly sparkle and is further accented by the halos above and below. Meanwhile the shoulders of the shank rise up to overlap the halo and meet the top of the center diamond which has a lovely bit of warmth.

I didn't have a chance to preview this while I was in Spain but I wore it a lot and took a pic with it in El Retiro in Madrid, a favorite place (park) of mine when I studied there so many years ago.

No hallmarks but tests at 14k gold. It has a lovely rosy hue.

Please note the measurements as I have small fingers and it can be difficult to determine scale from pictures.

SIZE & MEASUREMENTS:

Size: 6, a little over
Halo is 6.3mm north south and it is 4mm tall off the finger.
Weight: 2.3g.
The halo diamonds are very small and the center stone is about 3.1mm.

IMPORTANT CONDITION NOTES:
The diamond has a lovely slight warmth to it, may also be reflecting the setting. No major condition issues or glaring inclusions.

Please note that all my pieces are pre-owned and in estate condition. They will have patina, surface wear, a few small nicks. These pieces may also have evidence of a sizing, some build up around the stones and / or inclusions seen under magnification, typical for antique pieces. I have mentioned any noticeable issues above and they are all still wearable and eager to be loved and accepted for many years to come, (the preservation of antique jewelry, even those with signs of their age and history, is important to me. : )
But - Please note due to age, this piece is not in mint condition. Pictures also serve as part of the description and condition report so please utilize the zoom feature which will magnify any wear significantly more than what is visible to the eye while wearing : )
